I am yet to hear an actual good argument/reason as to why gun ownership should be allowed in America/anywhere in the world.
I don’t think I ever will, either.
Better yet, do you have an actual argument/reason why private gun ownership should not be allowed?
Because a police state in which only a handful of often improperly trained and brutish officers have access to firearms is preferable, correct? In which a mass collection of over 300,000,000 privately-owned firearms over the course of decades is preferable? We’ve seen the outcome of alcohol and marijuana prohibition, why would firearm prohibition then, by extension, be a good idea? Gun control is not a magic wand that makes weapons go away, contrary to popular belief. First think of the ramifications of an outright ban on civilian firearm possession and use before calling for it.
